Refund & Returns Policy

At The Hastings Goldmine, we want you to love your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, please read our returns policy below.

Change of Mind Returns

We happily accept change of mind returns within 14 days of receiving your order, provided that:

The item is unused and in its original condition.
The item is returned with all original packaging and tags attached.
Proof of purchase is provided.

Change of mind returns are eligible for a store credit or exchange. Refunds are not provided for change of mind purchases.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless otherwise agreed.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or is not as described, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Your order number
A description of the issue
Photos of the item and packaging

We will work with you to provide a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns on:

Earrings and pierced jewellery
Perishable food products
Sale or clearance items
Gift cards

Unless the item is faulty or required to be returned under Australian Consumer Law.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change of mind returns.

We recommend using a tracked postage service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Processing Time

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds, credits or exchanges will generally be processed within 5 business days.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
